Welcome, I am creative, neurodiverse, sensitive, and a seeker of wisdom.

I love helping clients who have overlapping life experiences to navigate find a path to thriving.

Let’s Talk Therapy

Are you drowning in navigating a demanding work or school agenda? Does it feel like you are losing who you are, as you continue to push yourself to make it through every day? Are you concerned that masking or your neurodivergence may be playing a role?

Build habits, behaviors, relationships, community, and a personal philosophy that is sustainable and joyful. Transition from “stuck” to freely moving. Let's define actionable, practical goals to help move your life in the direction you want. Let's get your body and mind in good, collaborative relationship with one another. Let's re-energize you and bring back your creative spark.

Clients repair relationships, find success, manage their energy, and improve their health. They learn how to communicate more effectively to help get what they want. They explore and develop tools to navigate autism, ADHD, neurodivergence, burnout, perfectionism, executive functioning, and major life transitions. Some clients choose to also explore spirituality, esotericism, IFS parts work, and Jungian concepts. We can make changes, and have some fun! A nice, full-hearted laugh is often sprinkled in.

I am here, as your grounded guide, to help navigate you through exciting, and bold life transitions, with the parallel tectonic global upheaval under our feet. I will be radically present with you in your deepest hopes and fears. You may feel lonely and disconnected, even though people in your life perceive you to be "put together." It is a courageous act to build the life you want. I do my best to help clients stay steady and purposeful through radical change.

I help clients build more sustainable, joyful lives. Clients are grateful to have done the work to build strong relationships, exciting careers, and thriving creative pursuits. There is a palpable shift as clients get in alignment with your inner wisdom. This inner voice that tries to guide us, which we sometimes avoid. The good news is this part of you will accompany you for the rest of your life.

As a neurodivergent person who specializes in working with neurodivergent folks (AuDHD, ADHD, autism, misdiagnosed folks, late-diagnosed, self-diagnosed), I am here to help you process the intricacies of your ND experience. Some of the topics I cover with neurodiverse clients are helping to foster special interest joy, exploring unmasking, empathizing with the unique struggles that come from your neurodivergence, tailoring your daily life to your sensory needs, or tackling structures in place that can make it hard to thrive.

I have experienced and am now thriving after chronic illness paired with extreme physical pain, existential panic, deep sorrow, unmasking as neurodiverse, crushing grief, and pervasive perfectionism. I found humility and transcendence through suffering. I approach my own healing journey as it intersects with being as a therapist as: if I am willing to do the work, gain the skills, and have the courage to show up authentically in the world for myself, I gain the knowledge (intellectual, intuitive, and embodied) to help guide you to do the same.

I have worked in many facets of the mental health system (community mental health, inpatient hospitalization, and private practices) conducting group, individual, couples, and family therapy. I have learned what helps people heal and grow as well as ways the system is structured where it can be very hard to be the patient. I enjoy working with folks who still hold hope that mental healthcare can help them, while understanding on a felt-level consequences of previous exposure to the system.

I have grown and developed immensely in my experience working in this field. I am proud of the work I do now, and I am proud of the work my colleagues do at Effective Artistry. I practice neurodiversity-affirming therapy, an approach that transcends pathologies. None of my clients are “disordered”, “sick”, or “broken.” I explore what they would like to change about their life (emotions, behaviors, thoughts, relationships, career, beliefs), and we work on changing those identified goals. I believe this is the most effective way to approach mental health in our modern world. Neurodiversity-affirming therapy is powerful antidote to the disadvantageous implications of the mental health system.

I believe in the importance of developing our personal philosophy, or the beliefs that influence our behavior, emotions, and thoughts. In my personal and professional journey, I explore existential crises, relationships, communication, neurodiversity, queerness, politics, liberation, authenticity, consciousness, giftedness, creativity, trauma, spirituality, purpose, holistic wellness, and the mind-body connection. Making decisions about where you stand can help you develop a confident roadmap in how you’d like to approach life.

I have built a network of like-minded practitioners for the mind and body that do their best to listen to clients, believe clients, and seek creative solutions to address their struggles. I find it to be extremely important for clients to build a variety of supportive relationships in their life (including personal, professional, and healthcare providers) to assist in significant healing.

I am excited to explore all the facets of you. Reach out. I am happy to help.
